The Power Steering Pump Pulley is a part of the power steering system and turns the belt that drives the steering pump. The steering pump belt drives the pump by transferring the energy from the engine through the steering pump pulley. The pulley is usually of aluminum or steel. They are designed to handle and withstand speeds faster than the engine speed. The pulleys are mounted with v type or serpentine belts to drive the steering pump.
