Direct TPMS:

-This system uses sensors mounted inside each tire to directly measure the air pressure. The sensors continuously transmit data to the vehicle's onboard computer or dashboard display.

-If the pressure drops below a certain threshold (typically around 25% below the recommended pressure), a warning light on the dashboard will turn on to alert the driver.

-Direct TPMS provides accurate real-time data for each individual tire.

Indirect TPMS:

-Instead of using individual sensors to measure tire pressure, indirect TPMS uses the vehicle's ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) or wheel-speed sensors to estimate tire pressure. It monitors differences in rotational speed between tires, as underinflated tires have a different circumference and rotate at a different speed than properly inflated tires.

-If it detects discrepancies, it will alert the driver. However, it doesn't give an exact pressure reading for each tire.
