As its name implies, Wiper Linkages are the link between the motor and the wiper arm and blade in car windscreen wipers. Since the windscreen wiper linkages transmit the motion of the wiper motor to the wiper arm and blade, these wiper linkages need to be sturdy and strong, otherwise they can get bent, rendering the wipers useless.

A low quality windscreen wiper linkage can get bent or broken if used during heavy rainfall, snow and hailstorm, preventing the wipers from working altogether or at least causing them to move out of sequence.
